Crook handle walking sticks

Crook Handle

The Crook handle walking stick is a very traditional design and remains very popular as an everyday walking stick as it can be hooked over the arm.
The crook is formed by steaming the wood to make it pliable and then bending it around a former into the curved position and clamping it until cool, which can then be unclamped to leave the distinctive crook handle shape.
