Long Chestnut shepherd's crook
A distinctive and traditional country walking stick, popular as a present for the active person.
Originally used by shepherds for catching their sheep, its unusual shape means it is a popular country walking stick, particularly beloved by those gathering blackberries (brambles).
Made from coppiced chestnut wood and it is fitted with a 'Combi-spike' ferrule: a rubber ferrule fitted over a metal one so that the stick may be used on both hard and soft ground.
Overall height approx 137cm
